• Enquiries and downloads: name, position, company, work email, phone number and hiring requirements you submit through our forms.
• Account data: name, email, role and profile details when you sign up.
• Candidate data: CV and profile details shared by you or by the hiring company, interview schedules, interview recordings, code written during the interview, interviewer ratings and feedback.
• Interview integrity signals: events such as tab switches, leaving the window, copy/paste and developer-tool shortcuts during a live interview, with timestamps.
• Usage data: pages visited, device, browser and approximate location, collected through analytics tools.

• To respond to enquiries and deliver interview services you request.
• To schedule, conduct, record and report on interviews for the hiring company.
• To match candidates with relevant roles where they have opted in.
• To send service emails such as invitations, reminders and reports.
• To keep the platform secure, prevent fraud and improve the service.

We process personal data with your consent, to perform a contract with you or the hiring company, to comply with law, or for legitimate uses permitted by law such as security and fraud prevention. Candidates are told before an interview starts that it is recorded and monitored for integrity. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; this does not affect processing already carried out.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

• The hiring company that requested the interview (reports, recordings and ratings).
• Interviewers assigned to the interview.
• Service providers who process data for us: hosting (Vercel), database (Convex), authentication (Clerk), video (Stream), email (Resend), form relay (FormSubmit) and analytics (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics).
• Authorities, where required by law.

We use essential cookies for sign-in and security, and analytics (Google Analytics 4, Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential features may stop working if you do.

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months. Interview recordings, reports and candidate data are kept for as long as the hiring company's engagement requires, and deleted on request or when no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to authorised people and role-based permissions, and our providers maintain industry-standard security controls. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users and authorities of a breach as the law requires.

You can ask to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise your rights, or raise a grievance. Email info@recrix.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Our services are not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version; material changes will be notified on the site or by email.
